It so easy to become lazy when it comes to maintenance of your computer. For instance, switching off that virus scan when you're in the middle of doing something and then forgetting to scan later on. I set all my scans and cleanups to run with scheduled tasks and when it runs I just take a break from what I'm doing so that the scan can complete. Great post and love the blog layout. I also suggest that users backup their data (including the registry); this can be on removable media or online. Next, create a boot disk and store it in a safe place.
